Gautama Buddha

Gautama Buddha was an Indian spiritual leader who lived between approximately 563 BC and 483 BC. Born Siddhartha Gautama (Sanskrit, Siddhattha Gotama Pali — the “wish-fulfiller“), he later became the Buddha (lit. Enlightened One). He is also commonly known as Shakyamuni or Sakyamuni (lit. “The sage of the Shakya clan”) and as the Tathagata (lit. thus-gone one), emphasizing the nature of a Buddha to go about in the world without adding or subtracting anything from his experience.) Gautama was a contemporary of Mahavira.

Gautama is the key figure in Buddhism. Accounts of his life, discourses, and monastic rules, were summarized after his death and memorized by the sangha. Passed down by oral tradition, the Tipitaka was written about one hundred years later.

Overview of the Buddha’s Life

Siddhartha Gautama was born in Lumbini (a Himalayan town modernly situated near the Nepalese side border) under the full moon of May to the clan of the Shakyas. During the birth celebrations, a seer announced that this baby would either become an emperor or a Buddha. It is said that, before being born, Gautama would visit his mother during a vision in the form of a white elephant.

At the age 29, Gautama became unsatisfied with his life. Upon being escorted by his attenant Channa, he came across the “four sights”: an old crippled man, a diseased man, a decaying corpse, and finally an ascetic; thus inspired, Gautama chose to become a monk.

Abandoning his inheritance with the disgust of knowing his fate was in the first three sights, he chose the robes of a mendicant monk and headed to southeastern India. He began training in the ascetic life and practicing vigorous austere practices. After 6 years, and at the brink of death, he found that the severe ascetic practices did not lead to greater understanding. Once discarding them and concentrating on meditation, he discovered the middle way, a path of moderation away from the extremes of self-indulgence and self-mortification. Under the fig, now know as the Bodhi tree, he vowed never to leave the position until he found Truth. At 35, he attained Enlightenment under the full moon month of May; now known as Gautama Buddha, or simply “The Buddha”. He claimed he had realized complete Awakening and insight into the nature and cause of human suffering along with the steps necessary to eliminate it. This supreme Awakening, possible to any being, is called the state of Bodhi and at this point, he won Nirvana.

He emphasized that he was not a God but that the position of Buddhahood is reserved for the human, in whom possesses the greatest potential for Enlightenment. Explained by Gautama Buddha, he also stated that there is no intermediary between mankind and the divine; distant gods and God are subjected to karma themselves in decaying heavens. The Buddha is solely a guide and teacher for those sentient beings who must tread the path themselves, attain spiritual Awakening, and see truth & reality as it is. The Buddhist system of insight, thought and meditation practice was not divinely-revealed, but rather, the understanding of the true nature of the human mind which could be discovered by anyone for themselves. Penetration of this reality accompanies the shocking truth that ignorance can be eliminated.

For the remaining 45 years of his life, he traveled the Gangetic Plain of central India (region of the Ganges/Ganga river and its tributaries), teaching his doctrine and discipline to an extremely diverse range of people, from nobles, street sweepers, outcastes, and including many adherents of rival philosophies and religions. He founded the community of Buddhist monks and nuns (the Sangha) to continue the dispensation after his Paranirvana or complete Nirvana.

Gautama Buddha realised that his bodily end was fast approaching. He told his disciple Ananda to prepare a bed between two Sal trees. Just before his passing, a 120 year-old mendicant monk named Subhadra, walked by. Being earlier turned away by Ananda, Buddha overheard this and called the Brahmin to his side. He was admitted to the Sangha (Buddhist order) and immediately after, Gautama passed away on that full moon day in May.

After intermittent illness, Gautama Buddha passing at Kushinagar under the full moon month of May, India at the age of 80. His last meal was a mushroom or truffles delicacy which he had received as an offering from a blacksmith. Vegetarianism is for Buddhists an ideal rather than a mandate, and monks and nuns in particular are enjoined to accept all offerings of food made to them (unless they see, hear, or suspect an animal has been killed especially to satisfy hunger). The Buddha’s final words were, “All conditioned things are subject to impermanence. Strive on with diligence”.

Personality and character

The Buddha as presented in the Buddhist scriptures is notable for such characteristics as:

• Both a comprehensive education and training in those fields appropriate to a warrior aristocrat, such as martial arts, agricultural management, and literature, and also a deep understanding of the religious and philosophical ideas of his culture.
• Gautama Siddharta was reported to have been athletic and fit throughout his life, competent in martial arts such as chariot combat, wrestling, and archery, and later easily hiking miles each day and camping in the wilderness. Images of a fat “Jolly Buddha” or Laughing Buddha are actually depictions of a different character, sometimes called Hotei (or Hoti).
• A superb teacher, with a fine grasp of the appropriate metaphor, and tailoring his teachings to the audience at hand.
• Fearless and unworried at all times, whether dealing with religious debate, a patricidal prince, or a murderous outlaw. He was not, however, past exasperation when monks of his order misrepresented his teachings.
• Completely temperate in all bodily appetites. Lived a completely celibate life from age 29 until his death. Indifferent to hunger and environmental conditions.

Splendid stupa

Thull is one of the oldest villages in Sindh. It has a great historical background. It is located in the western belt of the region, 15kms away from Johi town in district Dadu.

Among the sites that have historical significance in Thull, there are stupas (Kaloi Daro/Lakhi Marri) and an ancient small fort. There was a time when this village was the most prosperous area in the Kacho region when it existed between the Indus River and the Kheer Thar Moutain Range. Back then it was inhabited by Buddhists from villages like Chhini, Jaccobabad and Dadar. At the time Thull was a big town and the trade centre; but after it was attacked by the Arabs in 711, the Buddhists started to migrate from the area and moved to other places. It is said that most of them embraced Islam.

The oldest stupa in Thull partially exists on one of the hills. It can be seen that bricks were used on the inner side of the structure and mud was used on its exterior. The hill covers one acre of land where this stupa can be seen. It is believed that 1,500 people belonging to the Rodhnani tribe now live in Thull.

The type of stupas that are found in Thull were constructed in the Harar valley in the Kheer Thar Range near Fareedabad, Hero Khan Leghai, Gurandi, Kingrani and Johi town in the same Kacho region; but two of them in Johi and Gurandi villages were completely destroyed in 1970 because of the negligence of the locals and the government.

There is another historical hilly area covering two acres of land known as Kaloi Daro/Lakhi Mari near Thull. The Buddhist people used to live here. They made their homes in the mountains, traces of which can still be witnessed.

سرويچ سجاولي

واه واه هي منهنجو وطن، چارئي ڪنڊُون جنهن جون چمن،
سَوَ سَوَ منجھس پوکون پچن؛ واهڻ وسيون جنهن جون وسن،
ماڻهو جِتي جا محبتي ، سورهيه سگھارا صحبتي،
سڀ مرد مايون محنتي ۽ قول تن جا قيمتي.

ويهي رُڳو واکاڻجن؛ ٻيلا ٻنيون مَهراڻ جون،
جنت الفردوس آهن، ٻئي ڪنڌيون مهراڻ جون.

جِت جيڏڙيون جنسار ڪن، سَت سَت رنگا سينگار ڪن،
هٿ مُنهن ڌوئِي هسهار ڪن، تان گس گھٽيون گلزار ڪن،
جلوا ٿا پَسجن جُو به جُو ، سرهاڻيون پڻ سُو به سُو،
دَرشن ٿين جي دُو به دُو ؛ تان ڄڻڪ حورون هُو به هُو.

سبحَانهُ سبحانهُ . . . . ! سي سوڍيون مهراڻ جون،
جنت الفردوس آهن، ٻئي ڪنڌيون مهراڻ جون.

سُرما وجھي ، ڏيئي ڦڻيون ، پاڻِي ڀرڻ لاٰءِ پدمڻيُون،
گڏجيو هلن پنج ست ڄڻيون، ”هيڏن ڪنڌن سان“ ڪامڻيون،
ڪن کي لَٿون ڪن وينڊڙا ، سر تِي سمورين سينهڙا،
گُجرن ڀريا پاڻيءَ گھڙا ، ڪن ڪڇ تي ڪن ٻيلهڙا.

هو لاڏ مان لُڏنديون اچن، ڏس لاڏِليون مهراڻ جون،
جنت الفردوس آهن ، ٻئي ڪنڌيون مهراڻ جون.

جي ٻوليون تِن جون ٻُرن، ٿا چنگَ ڪَر چالُن چرن،
يا ساز ڪنهن تي هٿ سُرن، يا روھ تان برفُون ڀرن،
يَا گيت پيو ڪو ڳائجي ، يَا وَائي پئي ورجائجي،
يَا لهر پئي ٽڪرائجي ، يَا ڪنوار پئي پرڻائجي،

يا چيٽ ۾ چُڻ ڀُڻ ٿيون ڪن، اڄ چاڳليوُن مَهراڻ جون،
جنت الفردوس آهن ، ٻئي ڪنڌيون مهراڻ جون.

خوش ٿِي کٿيرِيون جي کِلن، تان مَاڻڪن جَا مڻ مِلن،
جي ٽول پائِي ٿِيوُن ٽِلن ، تان ساڙ ۾ ڊيلَون جَلن،
هو ديس تان گھوريُون گھُمن ۽ مُلڪ جي مِٽي چُمن،
هو ديس جي خاطر جيئن، ۽ ديس جي خاطر ڄَمن،

شل جيئنديون ٻئيِ جُڳ رهن، هي جوڌيون مَهراڻ جون،
جنت الفردوس آهن ، ٻئي ڪنڌيون مهراڻ جون.

ڳڀرو اَچن ڳاٽن سان جت ، ڏوٿي اُڀن ڏاٽن سان جت،
گھوٽيا گھمن گھاٽن سان جت، ۽ گھوٽ گھوٻاٽن سان جت،
اوڍيو گھُمن سِي اجرڪون ، ٽوپين تي موتِي ۽ ٽِڪُون،
ڇا پُت بَدن جون بيهڪوُن، ٿا سرءَ جون لاهين سِڪُون.

اهڙا ٻچا اڄ ڀي ڄڻين اڪثر اَميون مَهراڻ جون،
جنت الفردوس آهن، ٻئي ڪنڌيون مهراڻ جون.

جن جا جنگي ۽ جوان پُٽ ، ڳاڙها جيهاَ حُلواڻ پُٽ،
رانديون ڪُڏن رت ساڻ پُٽ ، سرويچ پُٽ سرواڻ پُٽ،
هڪ هڪ سندا هيڏا سيني سَپر، هڪ هڪ ڪري ڇيهُون ڇَپر،

هڪ هڪ سنديءَ مستيءَ ۾ ڏس، تُون مَستيُون مهراڻ جون،
جنت الفردوس آهن ، ٻئي ڪنڌيون مهراڻ جون.

اسان جيئن به به جيئي ڪو جھان ۾
سدائين نشان تي سدا امتحان ۾

ڪڏهن آنڌي الڙي، ڪڏهن ڪڙڪي بجلي
ڪٿي ڪکَ رهيو آ منهنجي آشيان ۾

پرين ڇا ڪجي پل وڃن ٿا اڏاڻا
هليو آءُ اڄ ڇا رکيو آ سڀان ۾

نه ڪا آرزو آ نه ڪا جستجو آ
ڪٿي ڪاروان وقت نا مهربان ۾

ڪڏهوڪا سڪا سر اڙي مرگھه مورک
اڙائي اڀو آن اکيون آسمان ۾

وري جي ولوڙن منجھائي رکيو آ
غم عشق هاڻي رهيو ڇا اسان ۾

هو هالار جا پٽ هُوءَ مياڻي، هُوءِ ٽلٽيءَ
اسان جون نشانيون سڄي گلستان ۾

اهي ئي ڪٽارا اهي ئي الارا
اڃان تير آهن اسان جي ڪمان ۾

ستارا نه چوندا ته ڇا تون نه ايندين
اڙي يار ڇڏ ويئي وهي رائيگان ۾

ٻه ٽي گيت واريم ٻه ٽي ديپ ٻاريم
ٻه ٽي ڦول هاريم تنهنجيءَ آجيان ۾

رت ديس تنهنجي راهه ۾ جي ڦڙو ڦڙو ٿي وهي وڃي
منهنجو نصيب ٺهي وڃي تنهنجو به قرض لهي وڃي

اداس رات جو مان چنڊ گھور گھور پيو پيئان
اونداهين جا چرٻٽؤ! متان ڪو ديپ ٺهي وڃي.

گلن جا سر ڪٽي ڇڏيو، وڻن جا ٿُڙ سٽي ڇڏيو
ڪلي ڪلي لتاڙيو متان ڪسر ڪا رهي وڃي.

سوهن مٽيءَ جي مر به آ جنهن غير جي نه ڄڀ پٽي
اسان جو ڄڻ ۽ ڪنڌ ذري اجوڳا ويڻ سهي وڃي.

مبارڪون وڍيندڙؤ ڪُهڻ جي رُت اچي وئي
هتي پيو ڪو ڪسي وڃي هتان پيو ڪو کڄي وڃي

اڏائي ڌوڙ راهه ۾ اڄ هلئون ته هيئن هلون
جو اسان جي شهر ڏي ورڻ جي واٽ ئي دهي وڃي.

جي جيون تو ۾ سنڌ نه آ ــ پوءِ منهنجي تو کان دوري آ
هي جيون جيون آهي ڇا ــ ڪٿ جيل زهر ڪٿ سوري آ

هن ڪاڪ منڊل کي ڊاهيندي ڪنهن آس نگر جا ساٽ سٽيون
اُس کان ته اجھو ٿو گھرجي، هي سنسار ته تپندڙ کوري آ

هن ڪوڙ قلعي جو ڀرم ٽٽو سڀ سانگ رچاءِ به سمجھون ٿا
تو ٺوري ٺاهي آڏ رکي مون ڪالهه جا ڍونڍي ٻوري آ.

ڏاڍو ڏاڍو ڪريو ڇو؟ ڇا لاءِ ڊڄان مان سمجھان پيو
جي ڏاڍو اڪ جي ماکي آ پوءِ ڪهڙي باغ جي موري آ.

قاتل جي هٿ ۾ لرزش آ، خنجر به سنڀالي ڪير ڀلا
هي منهنجي خون جو تقدس ٿيو جلاد جي لئه مجبوري آ

اڄ ڌرتيءَ ماءُ جي ڳل لڳي هر باغيءَ پئي ٿي هيئن چيو
مان ڪسجان تنهنجي راهن ۾، منظوري آ منظوري آ

هي ديوانن جي فطرت آ، ڪو ڏوهه نه ڌربو مقتل تي،
جي سر تان گذري ڄاڻن ٿا تن مور نه ڀاڙيو اٽڪل تي.

جو رات رَتي نيلام ڪري ۽ گھور گھڙيون قتلام ڪري
جو ويٺو ٿو وسرام ڪري مون ٽهڪ ڏنا هن توڪل تي.

ٿو دونهون دونهون وگھري آ ۽ ڪرڻو ڪرڻو وکري آ
جو ٽم ٽم ٽم ٽم پڄري آ، پر مير نه آيو مشعل تي.

تو پور بندر سين پانارو، جت لهرون لهرون اجيارو
هت نگر نگر جو وڻجارو اڻ ڪوٺيو ايندو ڦرڦل تي.

ڪجھه تارن جي اوجارن مان، ڪجھه ڪونجن جي اوڏارن تان
ڪجھه گلڙن جي هوٻارن سان هي منڊ منڊيو ٿئون محفل تي.

جت ڏونگر ۾ ٿو ڏينهن ٻڏي ۽ دور دڳن ۾ ڌوڙ اڏي
جت هٿ هٿ ۾ ٿو جام لڏي ڪو جھلجي پو ڪيئن جهلپل تي.

جي سپنا آئي رات کڻي ڏسجان نه وڃن ڇپرن مان ڇڻي
ڪا گھات ملي، ڄڻ بات بڻي، ڪو موڙ نه آڏو منزل تي.

اڙي شهرِ جانان، ڪي تو کي سنڀارون،
ته شاعر جون گذريون، هتي پنج بهارون.

هي جوڌن جي سينن جا فراخ رستا،
هي يوڪلپٽس جون نه کٽندڙ قطارون
هي تنهنجي گلين ۾، اسان جا حوالا
هي تنهنجي پٽن تي اسان جون پچارون.

هتي ٻن دلين جي به ڌڙڪن هئي گونجي
هيون جل پريءَ ڪنهن جھڪايون نهارون
اڃان ڪجھه نه بدليو آهي اڙي دل!
تصور ۾ اڀرن ٿيون ساڳيون پڪارون.

هي وک وک تي منهنجيءَ پياريءِ جا پاڇا
۽ دڳ دڳ تي آنچل سندس جون اُڏارون
اٿلندڙ اکين ۾ ڪنهن چاهت جي پوڄا
۽ پنبڻين ۾ اٽڪيل ڪي سجدا سپارون

۽ هن جي هلڻ ۾ هئي سارنگ جي رم جھم
کلڻ ۾ ته ميران جي سرندي جون تارون
ڇڙيون ۽ اسان کي ڪري ويون ويراڳي
”او بلما! ڪنهيا! ڪي اٻلا جيون سارون“

اڃان ڀي ته ساڳي ئي آ فارميسي
سپر هاءِ وي لڳ هو پيليون ديوارون
صبح پهريان ڪرڻا جھٽي سنڌالاجي
هوائن ۾ مهڪن گلابن جون ڏارون

اُتر واءُ آڻي ٿو گينڊي تي جوڀن
ڪري ماڪ ڏاڙهون پنن تي پسارون
چڪائي وجھن چاڪ ٿا سارا مارڳ
وري ڪنهن لنگهه تان سڏن هن جون سارون

نه مٽجي سگھيون سي ته دل جي پٽيءَ تان
ڪنهن شرميليءَ وينگس جون چُڪندڙ نهارون
نه ڀلجي سگهيس هن جي گونگي ڪلپنا
نه وسري سگھيس هن جيءَ اک جون الارون

تصور ۾ اڀري اچن ٿا سي ڏينهڙا
جڏهن هن جي چوٽيءَ مان ڦٽيون به ڌارون
نه اُڪليل محبت جا رنگين جذبا
نه سليل تنهن چاهت جون ڳجهيون ميارون

اڃان ڀي ته هردو اسان جو ڇِلن ٿيون
نه پوري ٿيل پيار جون سي پچارون
”سو اڙي شهر دلدار، تنهنجي دڳن تي
ڪا سفيد ڪپڙن سان ايندي ته هوندي.“

۽ هوءَ اپسرائن جي ٽولي جي راڻي
ڏسي تو کي اداس ٿيندي ته هوندي.“

هي وستيون ڳوٺ اجاڙ ڏسي ۽ لاشن جا ست ماڙ ڏسي
منهنجو ته جگر ئي ڦٽجي ويو منهنجو ته ڪليجو ڪٽجي ويو
هر روز نڌڻڪن تي گوليون، هر روز لهوءَ سان هي هوليون
رت منجھه رضا اڄ ڳاڙهو آ، پيءَ جي به ڪپار ۾ ڪاڙهو آ
هوءَ ماءُ رضا جي تڙپي پئي، هوءَ ڀاءَ جي ڀيڻ به سڏڪي پئي
ڪيڏو نه قهر ڪيو مون تي قضا او شوخ هوا او شوخ هوا
مخدوم بلاول کي چئجان، ٽلٽيءَ جا ڌڻي ڪا واهر ڪر.

هت بربادي آ نگريءَ ۾، ڄڻ هانءُ جلي ٿو سِگريءَ ۾
ويو خون سفيد ٿي يارن جو، هن ديس سندن غدارن جو
تن ميرن ڄام نوابن جو، ڀرڳڙين جو اربابن جو
بي شرم جيئن ٿا مَرڪُ ڪري، مرن نه ڍڪڻ ۾ ڍڪ ڀري
هي پنجابين جا بوٽ چٽا، او شوخ هوا او شوخ هوا
مخدوم بلاول کي چئجان، ٽلٽيءَ جا ڌڻي ڪا واهر ڪر.

هن ديس جي هارين نارين سان، سي ساڳيا انڌير اڃان
روٽيءَ جي گھرڻ تي گار ملي، ۽ لوئيءَ جي بدران مار ملي
اڄ هن جي ڌيءَ کڻائي ويو، هو لوفر پٽ وڏيري جو
اڄ ڏاند به هن جا ڇوڙيا ويا، ڏنڊا به پوليس جا ٽوڙيا ويا
ٿو رتَ ۾ لت پت فرش مٿان، ۽ لوهي شيخن جي پٺيان
ٿس ڦٿڪي ڦٿڪي ساهه ويا، او شوخ هوا او شوخ هوا
مخدوم بلاول کي چئجان، ٽلٽيءَ جا ڌڻي ڪا واهر ڪر.

هت ڪالهه به منهنجن پيارن جون، ويچارن جون ٻڪرارن جون
ڇيرن سان ڇاتيون ڇاڻيون ويون، سينن تي بندوقون تاڻيون ويون
پٽڪن جي وڙين کي ڦاريو ويو، پوتين جي پَلن کي ساڙيو ويو
مينار کڙا ٿيا لاشن جا، ۽ تاج جھليا بدمعاشن جا
هن ڀونءِ تي ڪڙڪي ڇا ته وبا، او شوخ هوا او شوخ هوا
مخدوم بلاول کي چئجان، ٽلٽيءَ جا ڌڻي ڪا واهر ڪر.

مون تنهنجو شهپر ڏٺو، هن جوءُ سان تنهنجو جوڙ ڏٺو
مون تو کي ڏسندي پرکيو هو، تون ڀٽڪيل روح بلاول جو
هت بان جي ڪپري آيو هئين، بي ڏوهه نڌڻڪو گھايو وئين
او آزادين جا متوالا، او چانڊوڪين جا روکوالا
اڄ عظمت جي محرابن ۾، مون سيس جھڪايو سجدن ۾
او منهنجا ڀاءُ او منهنجا رضا، او شوخ هوا او شوخ هوا
مخدوم بلاول کي چئجان، ٽلٽيءَ جا ڌڻي ڪا واهر ڪر.

هت چهرو چهرو چور ڏٺم
هت فوٽ پاٿن تي ٻار پنن
۽ گند گلين ۾ سڏڪا ڪن
هت سيني سيني دونهن دکن
هت دل دل ۾ ناسور چِڪن
هن ٿر مان هليا ٿاڪ ٿڏي
تون هل ته هلون هي شهر ڇڏي.

هت عصمت ڪاروبارو بڻي
هت مجبوري واپار بڻي
هيءَ نگري سڀ بازار بڻي
هت غربت ڄڻ ڪا گار بڻي
هن ٿڪن جھڙيءَ دنيا ۾
هن ههڙيءَ تهڙيءَ دنيا ۾
ڪنڌ لڙڪائي جيئڻو ٿو پوي
۽ ڍڪ ڍڪ وهه پيئڻو ٿو پوي
ڪجهه سڏڪن سان گڏ لڙڪ گڏي
تون هل ته هلون هي شهر ڇڏي.

هي ڦٽڪا پٺڙن ساڻن تي
هي ماڻهو ميڙا ٿاڻن تي
ڪي زندان ۾ ڪي ڦاهن تي
ڪي بندوق جي ٺاهن تي
هي اوچيون ٻانگون چاڙهيءَ تي
هي رت جا دڳ دڳ ڏاڙهيءَ تي
هي چنبا ڪنهن جي چوليءَ تي
هي ٽِڪا ڪنهن جي پوتيءَ تي
هت جت ڪٿ جوکو جيءَ جڏي
تون هل ته هلون هي شهر ڇڏي.

هي بستي آ ڀوتارن جي
يا پيرن يا پاڳارن جي
هي ڏيهه سڄو زردارن جو
ڇا حق آ تو مون پارن جو
ڪوئي نه سهارو ٿي سگھندو
پنهنجو نه گذارو ٿي سگھندو
هن ناڻي واريءَ دنيا ۾
هن هيڏي ساريءَ دنيا ۾
ڪو جيءُ اسان کي جاءِ نه ڏي
تون هل ته هلون هي شهر ڇڏي.

ڪو تارا تاڻي رات ڪٽي
ڪو سالم سالم مُرغ چَٽي
ڪو لٽي اَٽي جي اڍڪي ۾
ڪو ٿولهه گھٽڻ جي کُٽڪي ۾
ڪو رت جون گُرڙيون ٿوڪاري
ڪو ڪُتا رِڇ تي ڪوڪاري
ڪو لِڄ بچائي پاڻ لِڪي
هوءَ ڪنهن جي چادر چور ڇِڪي

شل انهيءَ کان اڳي

ڊاڪٽر آڪاش انصاري

ديس پنهنجي مان ڌاريان ٿـي ڌڪجي وڃــون،
پنهنجي مٽيءَ جي خوشبو لئه سِڪجي وڃون،
يا فـلـسـطــيــنــيــن جـــئـــيــن ڦُــرجــي وڃــون،
شــل انـهيءَ کان اڳــي ڪـاش وڙهندي مرون.

پـنـهـنـجــي ڏاڏاڻــي قــبـــرن مــٿان هٿ کڻون،
پننهنجي وڏڙن جي هڏڙن مٿان هــٿ کڻــون،
يا ڀــٽــائــي جـــي ســڏڙن مــٿــان هــٿ کڻون،
پنهنجي تاريخ جي مُنهن تي ڪارنهن مليون،
شــل انهـيءَ کان اڳي ڪاش وڙهندي مرون.

ڪيئن ڪارونجھر ۽ ڪاڇي مٿان هٿ کڻون،
ڪيـئن ڪينجھر ڪراچيءَ مٿان هٿ کڻـون،
پنهنـجـي نــوري تــمــاچــي مــٿــان هـــٿ کڻــون،
۽ وڏيـــرن جــيـــئــــان ســـنــڌ وڪــڻــي ڇڏيون،
شل انهيءَ کان اڳي ڪـاش وڙهــنــدي مــــرون.

پنــهــنــجا ايـــنـــدڙ نـســل دربـــدر ٿــي رُلـــن،
ذلــتــن ســـاڻ ڪــيــمـــپــن ۾ پَـلـبـا رهن،
پــنــهــنــجي وڏڙن تي لعنت ملامت وجھن،
مــــارئــــي جـــي وطـــن جـــا مــيــاري ٿيون،
شل انهيءَ کان اڳي ڪاش وڙهندي مرون.

مِٽيءَ جي خوشبوءِ

جنھن نه مٽيءَ جي خوشبوءِ کي ڄاتو ھتي،
جنھن نه سانگين جي سَڱ کي سڃاتو ھتي،
تنھن سان ڪھڙو ڀلا منھنجو ناتو ھتي،
تنھن کي چئو! منھنجي نگريءَ مان نڪري وڃي.

جو نه اجرڪ جي عظمت جو قائل ھجي،
منھنجي ٻوليءَ ڏي جيڪو نه مائل ھجي،
ذھن جنھن جو اڃا ڀي ورھايل ھجي،
تنھن کي چئو منھنجي نگريءَ مان نڪري وڃي.

جنھن سنگينن سان سانگين جا سينا چٿيا،
ڄڻ محبت جا مڪا مدينا چٿيا،
عشق عرفان جا آبگينا چٿيا،
تنھن کي چئو منھنجي نگريءَ مان نڪري وڃي.

جنھن جي اک ماروئن ڏانھن ميري ھجي،
جيڪو وانگين جي ٻچڙن جو ويري ھجي،
جيڪو جلاد، قاتل ۽ قھري ھجي،
تنھن کي چئو! منھنجي نگريءَ مان نڪري وڃي.

جيڪو لاڻن ليارن سان نفرت ڪري،
منھنجي پورھيت پنھوارن سان نفرت ڪري،
۽ درد وند ديس وارن سان نفرت ڪري،
تنھن کي چئو منھنجي نگريءَ مان نڪري وڃي.

Now a days US raids in Fata strained the American relations with Pakistan however the both side is trying hard to justify and handle the situation. In this regard New York Times reported that President Bush had allowed secretly US army to strike in Pakistan’s tribal areas. Meanwhile Hussain Haqqani the Ambassador to America had spent a half day at White House to handle the situation and after that talking to press he rejected the New York Times report and rhetorically said “US respect Pakistan’s sovereignty and looks at us as a partner”, but I think this is not the easy situation as Hussain describing it in simple words because on other hand State Department spokesman Sean McCormack commented that US, Afghan, Pakistan and other world have real interest in security along the border and further said US respected Pakistani sovereignty but he did not say the New York Times story was incorrect. With this, Chief of Army staff Ashfaq Parvez Kayani condemn the strike in tribal area with hard so as corps commanders of Pak army. But in my view US listen with deaf ears and perhaps would continue his new strategy more raids in Pakistan.

Pakistani Govt shows grave concerns over attacks making sense that the Attacks will provoke the nation against America, as Reman Malik and Gilani issued statements , to deter the American from more strikes but America has its own priority if we see in case of Iraq even though the European countries harshly condemn the American assaults but all remained useless and here also the situation is same American are confirmed that the Fata is so safe sanctuary for Al-Qaeda and Taliban and might be for Osma and Zawaheri, though the US is not prepare to listen any one and Pakistan can not and never restrained her (US) from the strikes. Here, I think, the best way is to offer the US to launch joint operation of Pak-American army in Fata it will prevent the more loss of innocent inhabitants’ lives and assets and American will realized also the difficulties Pak army facing in the Fata and never blamed Pakistan with failure of operation in the area.
